Spain's Queen Letizia slipped and fell aboard a fishing boat during an official visit to the country's northern region of Asturias.
The 54-year-old queen was visiting Llanes last Sunday with her husband, King Felipe VI, and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, for the 2026 Exemplary Town of Asturias Award celebrations.
During a brief tour of a fishing vessel, Letizia slipped and landed on the deck, footage published by Hola! showed.
Several people immediately moved to assist the queen, but she managed to get back on her feet without help. Her younger daughter, Sofía, 19, was also reported to have come to her aid.
A representative for Letizia confirmed to People on Monday, Oct. 26, that she was unharmed. "Her Majesty the Queen has not suffered any injury and is carrying out her usual activities as normal."
It had initially been uncertain whether the royal family would board the boat because of rough seas the previous day, Hello! reported.
For the visit, Letizia wore a tan sweater over a white button-down shirt, paired with dark jeans and brown boots.
Felipe, 58, opted for a pink shirt, olive trousers, a gray blazer and tan shoes. Leonor, 20, dressed entirely in black, while Sofía wore a blue sweater and dark jeans.
